New Years Eve is just around the corner and tickets to the biggest events in Sheffield are selling out quick! Its best to know which club/ event will be best for you this New Years Eve.

The Leadmill are hosting a NYE masquerade ball from 10pm till 4am, there will be fireworks, confetti cannons and masked dancers. Tickets are priced at £11. Leadmill is a nightclub that focuses more on indie rock’n’roll genre, making it unique to the many clubs that usually only play R&B. If you fancy the masquerade theme but not the genre of music, crystal are also hosting a masquerade ball on NYE with tickets ranging from £7-£14 there will be 3 DJs and an exclusive VIP area! Courtney Emson, 18, a media student from woodseats, says “I go to crystal every week the atmosphere is amazing I’ve met loads of lovely people, I’m 100% going on new years eve it’ll be mad!”.

Now if you’re looking for a very cheap night, Corporation is the place to go, with tickets priced at £5 and 80p vodka mixers all night you can’t go wrong! Corp plays a variety of music such as pop, hip hop, R&B and house.

The Baseline Festival present BASSFEST NYE which is hosted at Magna. This is one of the biggest NYE events in Sheffield, with huge artists such as DJ Q, Nathan Dawe, Chris Lorenzo and many many more! There will be 4 arena’s and fairground rides. Tickets are available on the baseline festival website for £32.50. You can also buy a Sheffield return coach ticket for £12 which picks you up from town then will take you back to town at the end of the night! Tom, 21, a uni student says “Everyone I know is going to bassfest, its expensive but will be worth it!”
